The Rotary Club of Makati Business District joined fellow Rotary clubs in supporting a community blood donation drive at the Philippine Red Cross–Manila Chapter, helping strengthen the local blood supply and promote voluntary blood donation.
The Rotary Club of Makati Business District (RCMBD) proudly participated as one of the co-host clubs of a community blood donation drive held on July 28, 2026, at the Philippine Red Cross–Manila Chapter in Intramuros, Manila.
The activity brought together Rotarians, volunteers, partners, and eligible blood donors in support of the Philippine Red Cross and its continuing efforts to maintain a safe and sufficient blood supply for patients and communities in need.
Through the donation drive, participants helped promote greater awareness of the importance of voluntary blood donation. Every successful donation can contribute to emergency medical care, surgical procedures, maternal healthcare, and the treatment of patients with serious medical conditions.
RCMBD’s participation reflects Rotary’s commitment to Disease Prevention and Treatment, one of its key areas of focus. It also demonstrates the power of collaboration among Rotary clubs, healthcare organizations, community partners, and volunteers.
By supporting initiatives such as this blood donation drive, RCMBD continues to turn compassion into meaningful action and encourage more people to help save lives.
The Rotary Club of Makati Business District remains committed to working with its partners and fellow Rotarians in implementing health-related programs that strengthen communities and create lasting impact through Service Above Self.
